Dr. Yasmine Olabi is a highly experienced, HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist dedicated to providing compassionate and effective support to children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. With over a decade of experience working with individuals managing acute, chronic, and lifelong physical health conditions, Dr. Yasmine Olabi currently leads the psychological provision into Great Ormond Street Hospital’s International and Private Care Division. 

 

Dr. Yasmine Olabi provides expert psychological assessment, support, and treatment for a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment to chronic or life-limiting health conditions, functional and medically unexplained symptoms, and eating difficulties. She works closely with families, offering support to parents in managing challenging behaviours and addressing anxiety in children. Dr. Olabi frequently works with patients facing cardiac and respiratory conditions, gastrointestinal issues, and oncology-related challenges, delivering compassionate care that focuses on both emotional and physical well-being.

 

Her approach is holistic and family-focused, utilising evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Each treatment plan is carefully tailored to meet the unique needs of each person, and she strives to create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment where clients and families feel heard, respected, and supported.
