Great Ormond Street Hospital private unit recognised as having the highest patient satisfaction

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) in London are pleased to report that they have the highest patient satisfaction of any private unit within an NHS hospital in the UK after the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) released data on patient satisfaction this week.

“Our International and Private Patients Service strives to put the Child First and Always in everything we do,” Trevor Clarke, Director of the International and Private Patients Service said. “We are delighted that this is reflected in responses that our families have provided through the Family and Friends Test.”

The data compared results of a standardised ‘Friends and Family Test’ from private units across the UK. The Friends and Family Test asks families to rate how likely they are to recommend the hospital’s service to friends and family, representing patient’s satisfaction in the services that had been provided.
