Dr Imogen Newsom-Davis is a clinical psychologist and paediatric neuropsychologist with more than 20 years’ specialist experience in multidisciplinary services for children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences and their families. She provides assessment of intellectual and learning profiles, attention, social communication and executive function, including diagnostic assessment for autism and ADHD. She has a particular interest in understanding and accessing optimal support for children and young people with unusual or complex neurodevelopmental profiles. Dr Newsom-Davis was appointed Consultant Clinical Psychologist at GOSH in 2016, leading the Neurodevelopmental Psychology group from 2016-2020.

Dr Newsom-Davis is actively involved in the design and implementation of multidisciplinary clinical research exploring cognitive and developmental outcomes for children with rare disorders including Sturge Weber Syndrome, Phenylketonuria, Galactosaemia and Pyridoxine-dependent epilepsy.
She has had a long involvement with the clinical trials psychology team at GOSH, providing outcome measures for multi-centre clinical trials of novel enzyme replacement therapies in metabolic disorders.
