Mr Stefano Giuliani is a Consultant Neonatal and Paediatric Surgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London (UCL).
Mr Giuliani qualified as a specialist paediatric surgeon in 2006 at the University of Padova, Italy. He then worked for four years at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (USA) achieving excellent skills in neonatal, oncologic, transplant and minimally invasive surgery for children. Mr Giuliani has been a consultant paediatric surgeon working in London since 2010.

Mr Giuliani holds a PhD in developmental biology from the University of Padova (Italy) and he is Honorary Senior Lecturer at UCL. His main research focuses are: necrotizing enterocolitis in premature babies, minimally invasive surgical techniques, oncology and neonatal surgical outcomes.
He has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents his research at national and international conferences.
