Доктор Karyn Moshal

Dr Karyn Moshal has worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) as a Consultant in Paediatric Infectious Diseases since 2004. 

Dr Moshal has extensive experience in paediatric HIV care and is part of the team that runs the GOSH paediatric HIV clinic, one of the largest and oldest in Western Europe (established in 1991). 

She is also part of the general paediatric infectious disease team, which provides both in-patient and outpatient care at GOSH, as well as infection control input and an outreach clinic service for tuberculosis and HIV across north central London. 

Dr Moshal is also the founder and Executive Director of CHIVA Africa. It is one of the few organisations focused solely on providing training and support in paediatric and adolescent HIV treatment and long-term management for health professionals on the frontlines of the AIDS epidemic in Southern Africa. 

I feel extraordinarily lucky to work as part of a supportive and accomplished team of professionals in Infectious Diseases at GOSH. The range of patients we see and the challenges they present every day makes life constantly interesting. Being able to make a difference in children’s lives is a privilege.
