Infectious Diseases
Overview
The Infectious Diseases team works closely with the microbiology, virology and infection control teams to provide infection-related treatment and advice.
We provide clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of unusual and complicated infections including bone/joint and central nervous system infections, tropical diseases and children with HIV infection and AIDS. We also provide expertise in the management of children with tuberculosis, chronic viral hepatitis, recurrent fevers and periodic fever syndromes.
