I am a clinical neurophysiologist with broad interests and expertise in the specialty. A particular area of focus is EEG for evaluation of complex epilepsy and other disorders of consciousness.
The primary focus of my work is on providing the best standard of care and the most supportive environment possible for patients and their families. I enjoy working in a large and talented team with diverse skills and interests within the clinical neurosciences and wider professional community at GOSH.
- Reporting of routine and urgent EEG recordings, including prolonged EEG.
- EEG telemetry including evaluation for epilepsy surgery.
- Nerve conduction studies and EMG.
- Evoked potentials.
I studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and King’s College, London. Following this I undertook postgraduate training in general medicine and neurology in London, Brighton and Canterbury. I subsequently completed a four-year training programme in clinical neurophysiology at King’s College Hospital (South London rotation).
I have a Masters degree in Neuroscience (University of Cambridge) and am nearing submission of a PhD thesis based on work undertaken at University College London as part of a Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Training Fellowship.
I am a member of the Royal College of Physicians (London) and a member of the British Society for Clinical Neurophysiology.
