Dr Buckland is an immunologist with a special interest in diagnostics for rare disorders and the management of children and young adults with primary immunodeficiencies.  

Dr Buckland leads the UK registry for Primary Immunodeficiency (PID) and is the Medical Chair of the leading national support organisation in the UK, PIDUK.
