Overview

We work to improve the ability to communicate, eat, drink and swallow in children who have difficulties with speech and/or feeding.

The Speech and Language Therapy team at Great Ormond Street Hospital provide a specialist service for children with disorders of communication and feeding.

The speech and language therapists within the team work with children who have difficulties with speech, or with eating, drinking and swallowing.

Therapists within the service are actively involved in research and clinical audit projects, and share findings in journal publications and through education and training at an undergraduate and postgraduate level.
